Join us at our Phoenix Coffee Roastery for a dynamic, informative workshop cupping four coffees and creating your own custom blend. After a lively morning designing your personal blend, relax and enjoy a tour of our Roastery. We'll explain how the magic takes place of changing green beans into tasty, aromatic freshly roasted coffee. Conclude your visit by taking home two pounds of your personal custom blend . . . .or . . . apply your entire registration fee towards a gift package featuring your signature blend packed in one-way valve bags for easy gift giving. Our Phoenix in-house graphic artist has designed a special label for the occasion.

Weekly Coffee Cuppings at West 9th Phoenix
Every Saturday at 3:00 pm, our lead barista, Kali Pavlac, hosts a coffee cupping at the West 9th Cafe. One of Kali's favorite ways to do a cupping is to set it up as a triangulation, which means that she sets up three cups of coffee, two of which are the same and one of which is different. This is a great palate development opportunity, because our participants can practice distinguishing which coffee is different. Usually this can be distinguished by the aroma alone! Coffee cupping is a standardized procedure that professional coffee tasters use to analyze and understand the taste characteristics of different coffees. Come join Kali and learn more about coffee, and have fun in the process.

On Sept. 18, Simi Davis will play a solo gig under her stage name: Simisings. Simi is a very busy lady indeed! She runs her own consulting company by day.
