El Ciprés: Peru

This is our second year purchasing from José Herrera's El Ciprés, a beautiful, family-run and award-winning farm in Huabal, Peru. This year José's focus turned to improving his organic farm practices, resulting in sweeter, denser coffee.

Red and Yellow Caturra cultivars organically grown at 1800 MASL in Huabal, Jaen; hand-picked and sorted for ripeness; floated; pulped; fermented dry for 22 hours; washed; and dried in shade on concrete patios for 12 days.
