While Phoenix is no stranger to Ethiopian coffee offerings, we have somehow managed to miss the boat on coffees from the country’s infamous Yirgacheffe coffee-growing region.

This washed community lot comes from Gotiti kebele (community). While it only started in 2023, the Gotiti washing station already processes between 500-600 tons of coffee annually from some 860 regional smallholder farmers. Expect a “classic” washed Ethiopian profile. Bright jasmine florals surround juicy melon and fruit punch notes, and a lingering black tea finish rounds out the cup.
