This exceptional single producer lot comes to us from a longtime producer in Peru's Puno region, Wilson Sucaticona. Named for the small mountain lakes on his property, Wilson's farm Alto Lagunillas is located between 1600-1800 MASL in the mountains along the Bolivian border.
This lot was fermented for 15-20 days before drying 8-12 days on raised beds under parabolic cover. We've found this coffee to present a clean and sweet pear-like malic quality with florals around the edge of the cup and a long, sweet finish with hints of vanilla and baking spice.
