Totutla Microlot

from $24.00

Despite growing coffee his entire life, it wasn’t until his mid-30s that Alfredo Vega Romero’s budding interest in fermentation motivated his family and community’s coffee harvests on a path towards specialty production. Since joining Crop to Cup’s Good Coffee Program last year, Alfredo and 10 of his neighboring families organized as the ‘Cozoltepetl’ cooperative, named for a secret shrine to the home of the Nahuatl rain god.

Grown and processed in Totula, Puebla between 12-1450 MASL. Phoenix purchased half of the total production, traceable to 11 families.
